Welcome to the Union Church of Istanbul.

We are a diverse, vibrant, interdenominational church, of many nationalities and backgrounds, reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of our city. We have been meeting in the Dutch Chapel, just off Istiklal Caddesi, in the heart of Istanbul, since 1857. If you are looking for a place to worship and a friendly community, we warmly invite you to join us on Sunday. Visitors are welcome.

The Sunday services take place at 9:30am and 11:00am in the Dutch Chapel.

EXTRA NOTE:
Please bring an official and valid picture ID with you to the services.
If you cannot show a valid picture ID upon request by the security staff, it is not allowed to enter the church.
(copies on telephones are not allowed to be used as identification)

Please come prepared for an official security check upon entrance, avoid loose items (like coins) in pockets,
and don’t bring cups with drinks into the premises.

If you would like to visit the 11:00am service, please come earlier to avoid long queues for the security check.
You can wait in the basement of the church for the 9:30am service to finished.

Thank you very much for your cooperation!

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His court with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:4-5
