Social Ministry
Union Church has many projects for refugees and migrants including clothing and milk distribution, assistance with medical needs and a program designed for mothers and their children. Help is also available for other members of the UCI Community. The program strives to be holistic; caring for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of those who come.
Worship
Worship lies at the heart of what we do as a church. We believe God has given his church a variety of gifts that can be used to enhance our worship. Music, singing, art and drama are all part of our worship and help us to focus and reflect on God in different ways.
Worship at Union Church of Istanbul is exciting! A variety of worship leaders usher us into God’s presence in praise through music. We also rely on many members of the congregation to help us as musicians, sound or slides technicians, Scripture readers, prayer intercessors and ushers.
Fellowship
The Bible tells us we need to be in relationships for our personal and spiritual growth. Like Paul and the early church, small groups are important for maturing in our spiritual health and learning how to respond to Christ as we walk with Him.
Education
We strive to equip our brothers and sisters adequately, so during the year there are seminars offered on a variety of topics in the Han building. We also offer the Alpha Course and Christianity Explored for anyone interested in learning more about the basics of Christianity.
